9 Days – 8 Nights
The Cradle of Gold
It was the original “Lost City of the Incas”, the first legendary ruins hidden in remote forested mountains on top of a dramatic ridge to come to light. They had been known to exist since at least the 18th century, but were rarely visited despite several “rediscoveries” over the years.
The Choquequirao trek is one of the most pristine trails in the Vilcabamba mountain range, and it is the perfect trail for those looking to get away from the crowds and do something different from the conventional Inca Trail to Machupicchu.
Great scenery, incredible landscape, endemic birds, a wide variety of flora and fauna, Choquequirao is an adventure of a lifetime.
