14 days and 13 nights
The Cradle of Gold and Culture
This is one of the most beautiful trails in Peru, with incredible views and great scenery between Choquequirao and Machupicchu. Our journey follows in the footsteps of the Incas and connects these two mysterious and magical villages. Along the great trail we will visit Andean villages and interact with local farmers and families who produce their food above 14,000 feet as well as at 7000 feet. We will be immersed in this amazing trail where we will see beautiful endemic birds and colourful orchids along the way.
The camping equipment and food service is first class, our Peruvian team is very professional and experienced in trekking this trail.
“The Discovering the Heart of the Incas programme is an invitation to hike the most pristine trail of the Andes and discover its spiritual side within the mountains.
