Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Ancascocha – Machupicchu
The Hidden Inca Trail, also known as the Ancascocha Trail, is one of the most beautiful Inca trails in South America. Named by National Geographic as one of the 20 dream hikes on its list of the world’s best hikes, this stunning trail takes you to ancient Inca ruins and through traditional Andean villages such as Chillipahua and Lake Ancascocha. The Ancascocha trail, in the Peruvian Andes, is an extraordinary trek that, unlike more popular trails, stays off the beaten track and away from the crowds. However, don’t be put off by its little-known status.
