Lima – Valle Sagrado – Machu Picchu – Cusco
On this tour you will visit the most popular neighbourhoods of Lima known for good seafood and especially the Peruvian ceviche which is considered the best in Latin America.
Afterwards we will take a flight to Cusco and enjoy a delicious corn and cheese with a cup of high altitude coffee. We will travel through the Sacred Valley and have the opportunity to try the famous baked guinea pig before having our delicious pachamanca lunch in the village of Ollantaytambo.
Arriving at Machu Picchu we will be able to enjoy this wonderful place and enjoy the gourmet food and the good service of the local restaurants.
Finally we will have the opportunity to prepare our own lunch in our first class Peruvian cooking class and learn the secrets of Peruvian food.
Intinerario
Day 01: Transfer from Lima Airport to Miraflores
Our staff will be waiting for you at the Lima airport to accompany you to the hotel located in the district of Miraflores.
Day 02: Tour to Pachacamac
We will leave the hotel early in the morning and head to visit the most important pre-Inca sanctuary of the Peruvian coast, Pachacamac, where we can explore and walk among the remains of the adobe walls and understand the meaning of this religious temple, very popular in the past.
Afterwards we will return to Lima for lunch and then visit the Larco Museum.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel and then we will have our dinner show to end the day (B,L,D).
Day 03: Flight to Cusco, transfer to the Sacred Valley
This day we will leave Lima on a domestic flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco we will head to the Sacred Valley where we will have our welcome lunch and then our first yoga session in a pure and energetic space.
At the end of these activities we will head to the hotel for a well-deserved rest after a long day (B,L).
Day 04: Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley.
This day we will have the opportunity to visit and explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our morning will start with a visit to the famous salt mines in the village of Maras and then we will visit the Inca complex of circular terraces of Moray. We will then head to the rural community of Misminay where we will have a delicious lunch prepared by the villagers who will also teach us about the traditions and customs of their people.
After lunch we will have a ceremony in honour of mother earth, after which we will return to the hotel in the valley. (B,L)
Day 05: Machu Picchu Tour.
This special day we will leave early from the hotel to take the train to the ruins of Machu Picchu.
We will have our tour visiting this magical place considered the new world wonder and spiritual centre of the Andes.
We will take advantage of this day to connect with the sacred mountains that surround this enigmatic and energetic place.
After a long tour of Machu Picchu, we will head to the hotel for an overnight stay in the town of Aguas Calientes. (B,L)
Day 06: Second day at Machu Picchu
This day we will have the opportunity to revisit Machu Picchu and reconnect with the energy of this place. At the end of the tour, we will have lunch and then take our train back to Ollanta and then our return to Cusco. (B,L)
Day 07: Cusco City tour.
We will start our day visiting the city of Cusco and discovering the enigmas of the capital of the Incas.
We will visit the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman and have a special Inca ceremony to give thanks for our positive experience in Peru. After lunch you will have the afternoon free to walk and explore Cusco on your own. (B)
Day 08: Full day healing ceremonies and Coca leafs Reading.
Early in the morning, we will start our activity outside from cusco. we will begin with our personal healing ceremonies performance in the country side near a lake or close to an energetic rock. followed by coca reading lead by some of our andean healers native from the Queros community. We will return to Cusco by the afternoon after a rewarding lunch. (B,L)
Day 09: Flight to Lima.
Our staff will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Cusco airport for your domestic flight back to Lima and then your flight back home (B). End
