CLASSIC PERU 03 9 days – 8 nights

Day 01: Transfer from the airport in Lima to the hotel.
Our staff will meet you at the airport and accompany you to the hotel assigned for the group. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 02: City tour in Lima
This day we will start our tour visiting the San Francisco Church, Plaza Mayor, then we will have lunch in an exclusive area of Lima. In the afternoon we will visit the archaeological site “Pachacamac” (considered as the most important pre-Inca temple in the Peruvian coast). Return to Lima and dinner included. (B,L,D)

Day 03: Flight to Cusco, transfer to the Sacred Valley 
This trip from Lima to Cusco is the most anticipated, as it will allow us to fly through the Peruvian Andes and reach the historic capital of Peru. Arriving at Cusco airport we will be taken to the Sacred Valley and on the way we can stop and visit the “Pueblo de los Tejedores – Chinchero”, where we will have an exhibition of Andean textiles and learn about the techniques of Andean weaving in Peru. Afterwards we will have our lunch in the Sacred Valley, check-in at the hotel (B,L).

Day 04: Bicycle ride in the Sacred Valley
On this special day after sunrise among the snow-capped peaks of the Andean Cordillera, we prepare for our bike tour in the Sacred Valley. We will start our tour visiting the archaeological site of “Moray” and the salt mines of “Maras”. After a super active morning we will have our special picnic lunch in a private area of the valley just for us. Picnic lunch above 14000 feet to enjoy the breathtaking Peruvian Andes, after lunch we will return to the hotel and have part of the afternoon free // Optional: Hike to “Pumamarca” and Picnic. (B,L)

Day 05: Inca Trail km 104
This day we will leave very early from the hotel to Ollantaytambo station, where we will take the train that will take us to the Inca llaqta of Machupicchu. After a 1 hour train ride we will arrive at the starting point of the trek and after walking for about 6 hours the sacred path to Machupicchu we will arrive in the afternoon at the Inca complex.  After taking the first pictures of this impressive world wonder, we will head to the hotel in Aguas Calientes where we will check in and rest after a long day. In the evening we will have our dinner included (B,L,D).

Day 06: Machupicchu
Early in the morning we will return to Machupicchu to discover the mysteries of this place accompanied by our guide who will take us around the circuit to visit the temples and squares of Machupicchu. After the tour we will have lunch and in the afternoon we will travel by train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo train station, then transfer back to Cusco by car, check-in at the hotel (B,L,D).

Day 07: City Tour Cusco
This day we start our tour walking through the traditional and narrow streets of Cusco, in this walking tour we will discover together the “San Pedro Market”, the temple of the sun “Qoricancha”, the Cathedral of Cusco. Then we will have our gastronomic experience visiting the “Rooftop kitchen” where we will prepare our own lunch advised by our expert chef in Peruvian food. After enjoying a fantastic Peruvian meal we will return to the hotel in the afternoon and have the evening free. Free afternoon. (B,L)

Day 08: Hike to the Rainbow Mountain : Vinincunca or Palcoyo
Optional : Humantay Lake.
We start this day travelling for three hours to arrive at the beginning of the hike to ascend to the Montaña de Colores which is located at an altitude of 5000 meters above sea level. After walking for 2 hours we will arrive at the most famous mountain in Peru for the natural colours that it shows due to the geological formation that this place has.
After lunch we will return to Cusco to rest and enjoy our farewell dinner included. ( B,L,D )

Day 09: Flight back to Lima
Today you will be transferred from your hotel to the Cusco airport to take your flight back to Lima and your flight back home. (B)
